you can erase this information, but you know richard d. james and you should let aphex twin know, that a german girl composed a song about him called "Aphex Twin Is my Daddy".
her name is silke f. and she is angry about Aphex Twin because he releases no good stuff anymore. I know Silke, she is on a german board for electronic music. she writes lyrical stuff about philosophy (Immanuel Kant, Friedrich Nietzsche and Carlos Castaneda). +

her lyrics seem fascinating (hmm...), but to be calling the whole analord series and the Tuss stuff (if that is afx) 'no good' is pretty rough. I remember people saying drukqs was bad too when it came out, and that people didn't like the 'come to daddy' ep because it was too commercial... so his stuff is no good because now everybody knows about it? lame.

Aphex Twin, Autechre, Squarepusher, The Tuss and Luke Vibert are not a bit better than the rest of the music composing world. Good music can be a minimal beat and bass production but it also can be a melody played on an keyboard wich was edited with a cheap freeware sequencer. In other words, good music, should "surprise" you in an way that your mind can find out of this reality your mind is normaly all the day. It has to do with chemicals and things between brain and soul, earth and universe, you and others. The Tuss isnīt Richard D. James. And the "Analord" series sounds not special at all. He would say again that he produced "Analord" just for himself. Nothing, you release is for yourself. You release it to make money. He sold his name (Aphex Twin) to Warp for a lot of money. This wasnīt smart at all. I would shit on Warp. I would break in, to this house and get at night on the top of the building and I would shit on the building of Warp. They transform every day more in an normal label, nothing special at all, anymore. So fuck you! You are so stupid in your heads at Warp. Warp is a joke with just 4 letters - but you can laugh about it! :-)
They deal with people who make music to buy the name, itīs just about making money for Warp. They destroy the meaning of "Braindance". Rephlex Label doesnīt take every oneīs music, better that itīs like that. I would give in one year only 2 or 3 music makers a deal. Today everyone can sound like Autechre and Richard D. James. 10 Years ago it was something special to sound like Bogdan Raczynski. Today everyone can sound like that. So I think it would be smarter to make music on an higher level with more mind, because the mind will stay the first and the last, whatever getīs created.

I told her about this talk here and she visited this page from Bogdan. Silke F. said that she shits on the music of Bogdan and Richard. She said her song about Aphex is a ironic joke about his stupid mind. Silke has over 900 composed songs and everyone is better than everything from Autechre, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher and Luke Vibert together. She said she releases never good stuff so nobody can use them. She only releases stuff to make jokes about Richard D. James. She said that Aphex Twin never will answer because he loves her music and he listen to it every day and night. Silke is a bit more freaked out than Richard, but she said I should tell you all that - Silke would give Richard D. James a chance to make a remix of one of her songs. Sheīs a good online-friend of mine, we talk a lot about things. She shits at Richard D. James, really, she shits at everyone on this fuckin planet, believe me...

Use the "search-function" at WATMM. Silke F. aka Nagual and aka the other 50 nicks, hehe. Silke told everyone on many boards that they are all motherfuckers. She laughs about everything. The music could be better. Bogdan and everyone on Rephlex is so good. Yes, we see it again: Drugs change you into an alien. Silke did the most music on salvia divinorum, alcohol and dope. Maybe she likes more writing on her books about philosophy. I mean Chris Cunningham does make music, but they want to see him in their own way. Itīs like that. But at the end - YOU DON`T ARE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK ABOUT YOU. We all are more then we ever can receive and by the way - Bogdan, you make cool music.

Gods donīt exist. And Silke F. is not a bitch. She said on the german forum that she is still virgin and she never want to have sex, because she rather reads books from Friedrich Nietzsche and Immanuel Kant all day. Silke is a bit mad, yes. But they like her very much on the board. Richard D. James would be nothing without software and analogue synthesizers. A real musican is able to make good music with a piano or a guitar. Are you sure that Aphex Twin is able to play for 1 hour a - "musical" good - liveconcert just with a piano? Iīm sure he is not able to do it. Silke F. and many other people on this german musicboard are able to play good music just with simple instruments. Many people just donīt know anything about music and art. Aphex Twin just made songs that sound like broken speakers. Come To Daddy sounds just like a death metal song you listen to over a broken speaker in highspeed because the tapemachine is broken and plays faster. Bach and Mozart would never say that Aphex or Autechre and the other ones are great. They just would say that Aphex and the rest destroy the definition of music an destroying this definition of music creates new space and this space they use to say that itīs something new. What sound new sounds to many people great. And when itīs about experimental music the people say you are a god. But at the end you are just destroying. Destruction is the main theme of IDM. The best ones in destroying beats and melodies trough technology arenīt gods of music. They just are good in destroying something and often they destroy something beautiful. Then, after that they think, that the beat sounds like the future of electronic music. But itīs not the future - Itīs the end.

I dont think it is down to Richard how the commercialism of some of his music came about but more rather ther artists of different genres stating him as their "influence" if any one is to be slagged for even the tiniest bit of commercialism it is those in the mainstream who name dropped

I did not said that Richard started this drama. The problem of electronic music is that people love to call artists a genius. People go the wrong path when they do this. Take Bogdan Raczynski or Autechre as a example. They were very good many years ago. Then - people saw this and said that they are genius. They are really that good, - but this is not good for "the artist". At first they think that people understand and love them and their work, but than they go and do more stuff they love and then other people get jealous and do their stuff THE SAME WAY. Then you have commercialism, so the root of the problem is jealousy, because people keep telling that this artists are a genius. Richard D. James said in an older interview: "No Iīm not a genius. I just do things different like other people". I see it the same way. You have to learn very much to get really good in something. And this doesnīt mean that other people will understand your work and point of view. It can be that you work on a track for 4 months and work on the mastering for 8 months and nobody will say that it sounds good. It can also be that everyone will say that you are shit and should stop with what you do. But then it can be that this stuff you made really IS good and better than the stuff most people did and do. A genius doesnīt exist. You have to learn. You have to get better. You have to be different. You have to think and see things different. Try to be wiser and smarter. But donīt try to copy the thoughts and the work of other people. When you do it this way, it can be that people say you are not good because you sound or are to different like anything been there before. But keep on with it and do the best you can. Try to be honest. Try to be human. Make mistakes. Without mistakes nobody would learn something. We need to make mistakes. Itīs a long way to get really good in something. And itīs sad when thousands of people just copy the good work of one person that everyone calls a person thatīs "better" then the rest.

On many boards they love her music. I guess itīs just a question of taste. Many people also said that the new Autechre album "Quaristice" sounds like shit. Everythingīs just a question of taste. Think about burgers.
