you need a small pot and a small frying pan. Put water to boil in pot, and mix in however much salt you generally like to flavor your pasta with. Put olive oil in frying pan.
Chop onion and garlic and set aside until oil in pan is heated, then sautée until onions and garlic are soft and yellow. Remove from heat.
Put spaetzle in boiling water and boil rapidly for 15-20 minutes, or until it is soft. Drain pasta and set aside.
Reheat onions and garlic, and put in butter. When butter is melted, mix in the spaetzle and cheese, and continue stirring until spaetzle is coated and cheese is melted. Add dash of love just before serving.
