Ingredients
this is an excellent recipe that was passed to me through a friend's family. i apologize for the non-metric measurements, for those who use them.
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup pepper sauce
1 cup ranch-style salad dressing
2 cups diced cooked chicken (I boil it in a pot and then pull the meat once it has cooled -- quite easy to loosen it up in your hands)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup pepper sauce
1 cup ranch-style salad dressing
2 cups diced cooked chicken (I boil it in a pot and then pull the meat once it has cooled -- quite easy to loosen it up in your hands)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
In a medium bowl, stir together the cream cheese and hot pepper sauce until well blended. Mix in the ranch dressing, chicken, and cheddar cheese. Spread into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven (have it at around 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C). Oil may collect on the top a little; just dab it off with a paper towel.
There you have it! serve this with tortilla chips. i like to use the ones that are shaped like little bowls and have people spoon the dip in. this dish is definitely a people pleaser when company is over, so you may find all of that effort disappearing in a matter of minutes.
